The Rare Hot Magenta Furry Hat was given out as prizes for users that participated in AJHQ's #AJJamaalidays Instagram contest, during December 2022.AJHQ advertised the event on their Instagram. The Rare Hot Magenta Party Hat was given out as prizes on July 2022 to users on who participated in Jambassadors' contests that they hosted in their den.Although similar in style to the Rare Tagged Magenta Items, these items are named with the 'Rare Hot Magenta' prefix. The Rare Hot Magenta Items are a set of neon, hot pink items that were given out in AJHQ Instagram-announced contests. The Rare Magenta Candy Cane Socks were given out from December 28th, 2021 to December 31st, 2021.The Rare Magenta Cupid Wings were given out from December 21st, 2021, to December 24th, 2021, and July of 2022.The Rare Magenta Sheep Cloak and Rare Magenta Necklace were given out from December 7th, 2021 to December 10th, 2021 and December 14th, 2021 to December 17th, 2021.The majority of the winners from these contests were Play Wild-only players, and thus, some of them did not want to or care to make AJ Classic accounts - so a few of the items that were won have never claimed in-game by their winners. As a result of their pink color and the fact other magenta items exist, players typically refer to them as "pink items" or "pink magenta items".
The Rare Tagged Magenta Items are a set of neon, hot pink items that were given out in AJHQ Instagram-announced contests. The Magenta Cheese Hat, Magenta Giant Jamaaliday Bow, and Magenta Squid Hat were given out via Instagram-held contests on October 21, 2019, December 16 2019, and Aprespectively.This page does not include the Magenta Tiara (Two given to each Jambassador), The Magenta Frog Hat (Given by AJHQ to artists), or the Magenta Sheep Cloak and Magenta Candy Cane Socks (Obtainable via AJHQ YouTube livestreams). They are not to be confused with the hacked-in/glitched Magenta Items. The Contest Magenta Items are regular magenta colored items that were given out from AJHQ through Instagram-announced contests, or via Jambassadors.
